World Trade Center (WTC) September 2026 Update

As we mark the 25th anniversary of the World Trade Center (WTC) attacks on September 11, 2001, we remember and honor the victims, survivors, and those who went above and beyond to assist in the Rescue, Recovery and Clean-up efforts.

With deep gratitude, we recognize the 12,750 NYCERS members who served at the WTC site. NYCERS remains steadfast in our commitment to support our clients impacted by 9/11. Our dedicated WTC Disability Unit ensures that we continue to provide compassionate, exceptional service to more than 2,600 WTC disability applicants, members, retirees, and beneficiaries today and always. Thank you to all who made immeasurable sacrifices for the City of New York.
