Chapter 58 of the Laws of 2026 Update

In accordance with Chapter 58 of the Laws of 2026, NYCERS updated all reference materials to reflect Tier 6 rate changes in September.   

In addition, updates are currently being made to reference materials, communications, estimate calculations, online functions, and the MyNYCERS portal to reflect Tier 3 22-Year and 22-Year Enhanced Disability Uniformed Correction and Sanitation Plan changes and will be complete by December 1, 2026.

The new plan names are:

  • Uniformed Correction Revised 20-Year (CR-20) Plan
  • Uniformed Correction Revised 20-Year Enhanced Disability (CR-20E) Plan
  • Uniformed Sanitation Revised 20-Year (SR-20) Plan
  • Uniformed Sanitation Revised 20-Year Enhanced Disability (SR-20E) Plan
