Domestic Relations Order (DRO)
If you are a member or retiree whose pension is subject to equitable distribution based on a divorce, or if you are an ex-spouse of a member or retiree and are entitled to a portion of your ex-spouse’s pension, you must submit a Domestic Relations Order (DRO) to NYCERS.
