NYCERS members need a PIN, or Personal Identification Number, to access their secure MyNYCERS account. Until now, PINs were provided only in a letter, mailed to your address on file. Now you can get your PIN instantly by text message or e-mail, register it, and gain immediate access to your secure account and all MyNYCERS  tools and features.

Keyword Search

NYCERS.ORG can now be searched by keyword. Click the magnifying glass or the “hamburger” menu at the top right corner of every webpage and enter your search term. You can find everything relating to a particular Tier or Plan, or search for a form or brochure by name or number. You can then filter the results by relevancy, title, and more.

Melanie Whinnery selected as NYCERS Executive Director
The New York City Employees’ Retirement System Board of Trustees has selected Melanie Whinnery to be its next Executive Director.

Melanie Whinnery has been selected by the New York City Employees’ Retirement System Board of Trustees to be its next Executive Director, culminating a national search by the NYCERS Board, assisted by search firm EFL Associates.

Ms. Whinnery is currently the Deputy Comptroller for the New York State and Local Retirement System (NYSLRS), also serving as the Chief Operating Officer, overseeing NYSLRS’ management team and approximately 800 staff.
