Open Monday through Friday, except holidays.
Monday and Wednesday, 8 am – 6 pm
Tuesday and Thursday, 8 am – 5 pm
Friday, 8 am – 3 pm
The Customer Service Center is easily accessible from the A, C, F and R lines (Jay Street/Metro Tech), and the 2, 3, 4 and 5 lines (Borough Hall).
NYCERS does not provide Notary services. NYCERS will waive the Notary requirement on most forms if you provide a current U.S. Passport, a valid Driver’s License or a Work ID issued by any NYC agency.
To help Customer Service respond to your inquiry when you visit, please bring the following:
- NYCERS Member number or Pension number
- Social Security number
- A photo ID that includes your signature
- Copies of correspondence you are questioning
- Documentation to support your claim
We encourage you to hand-deliver all applications that are time-sensitive to our Customer Service Center. You take considerable risk of undocumented or lost applications when mailing such documents.
