Welcome to the official website of the New York City Employees’ Retirement System (NYCERS).

Whether you are a member, non-member, retiree or a representative of one of our participating employers, NYCERS’ website exists to provide you with valuable pension-related information.

In addition to serving as a repository for all of our forms and brochures, the website contains Frequently Asked Questions, summaries of recent pension laws and financial data including access to our Comprehensive Annual Financial Report and Annual Report.

NYCERS’ website also offers exclusive access to personalized account information for our members and retirees through registration with MY NYCERS. Since information security is of paramount concern, MY NYCERS accounts are secured by means of Personal Identification Numbers (PIN). Members and retirees may request and/or register a PIN upon establishing a MY NYCERS account.

For members, MY NYCERS provides a gateway to account balances, loan information, refund information and much more. In addition, members can utilize our interactive calculators and create hypothetical scenarios to contemplate a loan, buy-back or retirement benefit.

For retirees, MY NYCERS displays the monthly retirement allowance and portion attributable to a Cost-of-Living-Adjustment (COLA), if applicable, as well as the compensation base used to calculate the retirement benefit and option selection. In addition, retirees can access a copy of their latest 1099R form and award letter issued at retirement.

For all of these reasons, we encourage all members and retirees to establish a MY NYCERS account. It’s fast, it’s easy and it’s free! Our User Guide provides a step-by-step tutorial to online registration.

We hope your online visit meets your pension needs. Please be sure to visit again soon as we are continually adding enhancements including more options for electronic interaction with our members and retirees.
