We are dedicated to serving our customers as quickly and efficiently as possible. To do this, we have provided various ways to contact us. Review the information below to help you decide the best way for you to contact us.
We encourage all applications that are time sensitive to be hand delivered to our Customer Service Center. You take considerable risk of undocumented or lost applications when mailing such documents.

 Visit us:

For all services at our walk-in Customer Service Center, visit us on the mezzanine level at 340 Jay Street in downtown Brooklyn. Our business hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday-Friday. The Customer Service Center is easily accessible from the A, C and F lines (Jay Street), the 2, 3, 4 and 5 lines (Borough Hall) and the M, N and R lines (Court Street or Lawrence Street).

If you visit NYCERS Customer Service Center, you do not need to have forms notarized. Instead, provided you have appropriate identification, our customer service representative can certify all the information is accurate and accept the form.

To help Customer Service respond to your inquiry when you visit, please bring the following:

  1. NYCERS membership number or pension number;
  2. Social Security number;
  3. A photo ID that includes your signature;
  4. Copies of correspondence you are questioning; and
  5. Documentation to support your claim.

If additional service is needed, live customer representatives are available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. through 5 p.m., throughout several of the menu options to answer your questions.
