We are very pleased to welcome you to our new home on the Internet. Whether you are seeking specific information, or simply wanting to learn more about NYCERS, you will find our web site to be an exciting gateway.

To continue our tradition of successfully serving our members, NYCERS is undergoing vast reconstruction, both internally and externally. These changes are intended to further build NYCERS into a customer-centric retirement system, where members have the resources to build for tomorrow.

With so many variables affecting pension plans, fully understanding it is often a difficult task. It is because of this that we have added features to further explain our retirement benefits. On this web site you will find the interactive tools needed to determine your loan availability, your estimated retirement benefit, and the cost to purchase previous service, all from your own personal account information. Our newest feature is an online Buy Back Application where registered MY NYCERS members can now electronically submit their application. We are continually updating and enhancing this site so be sure to visit us often.

In addition to the resources provided online, we have also opened our doors to weekly membership meetings, where experts lead you through a step-by-step tutorial of your plan provisions, followed by an open forum where you can ask them your individual questions. And if you always wanted to know how to register for our web site but were afraid to ask, we will show you how on one of our computers after the scheduled meeting. Each week targets a different audience, so be sure to contact your agency to find out when you should attend.

We have also implemented a state-of-the-art call center, where members can now call 24 hours a day, seven days a week to request forms, get account information or obtain loan balances. If you need additional answers, you can contact a customer representative by phone, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

NYCERS has evolved in tandem with our member's needs and will continue to meet the needs of our members today and in the future. Loyal to our mission, NYCERS remains doing today what it has always done, building our members retirement benefit into one of their most valuable assets.
